Shannon Cliett is a dynamic and results-driven executive with over 15 years of experience in healthcare management, operations, and strategic leadership. As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for US Pain and Nirvana, she leads the operational strategy for a rapidly growing organization serving pain management practices across eight states. With expertise in staffing, revenue cycle management (RCM), remote therapeutic monitoring (RTM), and practice management solutions, Shannon is dedicated to helping clinics streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and improve patient care.

A key component of Shannon’s leadership is her ability to integrate innovative technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, to optimize workflows, automate administrative tasks, and support data-driven decision-making. By implementing best-in-class processes and strategic KPIs, she helps pain management practices increase provider productivity, improve scheduling systems, and maximize operational efficiency. Additionally, Shannon plays a pivotal role in developing national partnerships with pain-specific vendors, ensuring healthcare providers have access to industry-leading tools and resources that enhance both financial performance and patient outcomes.

Prior to her role at US Pain and Nirvana, Shannon served as the Chief Operating Officer at Arizona Pain, where she successfully managed multi-location pain management clinics. She was instrumental in scaling operations, overseeing mergers and acquisitions, and launching new service lines to support business growth. Her expertise extends across multiple areas of healthcare administration, including staff management, financial oversight, insurance credentialing, and compliance, making her a well-rounded leader in the field.

Shannon’s experience also includes serving as COO for AZ Dentist, where she managed operations for multiple locations and played a key role in expanding the practice. Earlier in her career, she worked at HonorHealth as an Enterprise Project Manager, where she led large-scale healthcare initiatives and implemented systems to improve project efficiency. With a strong background in project management and process optimization, she consistently drives improvements in practice operations while maintaining a strong patient-centered approach.

Proficient in a variety of Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, including EClinicalWorks, DrChrono, AdvancedMD, and Athena Practice, Shannon is committed to leveraging the latest healthcare technologies to enhance patient care, streamline administrative functions, and support the overall success of medical practices. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a minor in Communication from the WP Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
